Diamond Light Source, the UK’s national 3rd generation light source, is pleased to announce and host the 9th International Workshop on Infrared Microscopy and Spectroscopy with Accelerator Based Sources, WIRMS 2017.

We invite you to join the InfraRed community from the UK, Europe and Worldwide for an animated workshop, from 25th to 28th September 2017. Taking place in the heart of the city of Oxford at the University of Oxford’s historical Worcester College, this is the first time that WIRMS comes to the UK.
Following the tradition of all WIRMS, we aspire to hold a key meeting for staff and users of IR/THz beamlines at Synchrotron (SR), Energy Recovery Linac (ERL) and Free Electron Laser (FEL) facilities around the globe, to discuss new science and innovative technology across the whole IR spectrum.
We hope that WIRMS 2017 will be an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas among scientists from the broadest variety of IR research fields, along with scientists from Diamond and the UK IR user community.
We look forward to welcoming you to Oxford in September
